Support Aim

  • Individuals (children, young people and adults) in East Kent with low to moderate household incomes who cannot afford private therapy

  • Individuals experiencing a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, stress, relationship issues, bereavement, and trauma

  • Specific demographic groups within East Kent who may face additional barriers to accessing mental health support (e.g., unemployed individuals, students, single parents, minority ethnic groups)

Need for Support

  • Significant unmet need for affordable mental health services in East Kent due to long NHS waiting lists and the high cost of private therapy

  • Increasing awareness of mental health issues and a growing demand for support

  • A need for services that are geographically accessible and culturally sensitive to the diverse population of East Kent
